What's your training routine before a fight like:
I run 6 mornings a week! At least 10 to 15 km! Plus sprints up hills and stairs and I train at the boxing gym 6 days a week. We spar 2 or 3 times a week hard and have a couple of light fitness sparring sessions with lots of padwork also!
Since turning professional you've changed trainer, what was the reason behind that:
Since turning professional I've changed trainer once, I went from Paul Ferrari to Mario Patrizi. Paul Ferrari was good as a trainer but isn't good with the other things you need to be a top trainer and I needed to do what was best for me! I'm very happy with the camp I'm with now and I don't have any plans of going anywhere!
In your last fight, you lost a controversial decision to Jordan Gee-Hoy on the undercard of Bell vs. Lovett, do you think you won that fight:
Yes I definitely believe I won the fight and would love to fight Jordan again anytime! I've watched the tape many times and I believe Jordan won the first 2 rounds and I won the last 4. I started the fight a bit cautious as I knew Jordan was a good fighter with a lot of experience! I definitely didn't perform to the best of my ability and I think next time there will be a different result!
You've been mentioned as a possible candidate to fight for the Australian Title, is that a title you plan to fight for in the future:
Yes I definitely plan on becoming the champion of Australia! If the offer comes up I will fight anyone they put in front of me!
Your booked in to fight on April 4th at the Melbourne Showgrounds, are you trying to get any fights in before then:
Yes, I hope to get at least 2 fights in before then. Possibly on March the 7th at Dallas Brooks Hall here in Melbourne.
Are there any people that you would like to thank:
Yes I would definitely like to thank my mum and dad for all their support and also my brother Ryan for all his help! I would also like to thank Paul Ferrari for everything he taught me! I definitely would like to thank Brendon Cannon in Sydney for all the hard work he put in with me as an amateur! He trained me for all my amateur fights! and anyone else that has helped me along the way!
